Try setting the session timeout in Session_OnStart() of Global.asax file. 2. (I am not too sure) but i think there is a possibility for session to get expired prematurely if the system runs low on memory? 3. From IIS 5.0 and above, session objects are lost when threads are recycled. So try changing to State/SQL mode of maintaining it.
