Hi Soumitra,

When u release any COM object in .NET you
need to explicitly release using this statement
Marshal.ReleaseCOMObject("comobj")

Then only ur object will be released from
the memory.

Hi,

I am opening an Excel
File using COM Interop in Net. Even after I destroy
the
object, the excel object (Excel.exe) is not being released. We
                can see
this in the task manager. This causes the server to
                ultimately crash .

Can anybody please suggest a work
                around for this ?

Thanks &
                Regards,

Soumitra
