This should take care of your problem,
Sheets sheets = workbook.Worksheets;
// The active sheet concept is not being considered
// Get the Data Sheet (typically first sheet)
dataSheet = (_Worksheet) sheets.get_Item(1);
selectedDataSheet = (_Worksheet) sheets.get_Item(2);
