I need to have a remote data access through a server with security. The client fires the SQL query to server and the result is returned to the client. I have looked up many examples to make the server and client. But i was not able to locate exactly what i needed. All the examples were dealing with broad casting. none with the secure transmission of data. How can i secure the data on way to client and server and how server will identify the client to which result is to be returned.
