----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: DeepakG_MSFT Message 2 in Discussion Hi Roshan, Hate to beat the dead horse ;-), but you might like to see (might have already seen): http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/wmic.mspx Excerpt: The Windows Management Instrumentation Command-line (WMIC) is a command-line and scripting interface that simplifies the use of Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) and systems managed through WMI. WMIC is based on aliases. Aliases make the primary data provided by WMI available without having to understand WMI-specific concepts. WMI data and many WMI features are also accessible through WMI without aliases. One small issue - I think it is XP/Server 2003 only :-( Cheers, Deepak ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/BDotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
