hi...... I dont get what you mean by creating a session in one server control. Do u 
mean creating a session in two different applications or storing the value in a 
session variable, am sorry if i have got your point wrong.   1. Session state is 
maintained for the life of the application and/or depends on the sessiontimeout value 
you set in the web.config file.   2 once a variable is set in a session, it can be 
accessed in the application.   you might also want to try using view state for the 
server controls you mentioned.   bye Kans.
