i think if u use sqlclient then u can't use dsn up2 my knowledge, use odbcconnection
instead of sqlclient like this :
OdbcConnection odbConn= new OdbcConnection("Driver={Sql
Server};server=openfield;uid=tt;pwd=tt;database=shankar");
or use sqlclient
like this
objSQLCn = new SqlConnection("server=openfield;user id=tt;password=tt;initial
catalog=shankar");
