----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: raagz Message 1 in Discussion Hi All, I have an dll which talks to DB and retrieves the XML and i use this XML in my ASP.NET application to display it to user using a Grid. The dll does a lot of processing on XML . if i make the dll as a remoting host (server) which runs in the same machine as my web application (different AppDomains) will my application be faster in terms of load balance , performance and scalability ? Is my way of implementing Remoting in .NET right ? Basic idea: by moving the dll into different AppDomain i will be using more of processor time which makes the dll functionality faster . [NOTE:I am new to Remoting concept.] Thanks Raagz ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
