Hi Sarada, You can use Server Control or HTML Control in a Web Form. HTML Controls
have a standarad one-to-one correspondence with HTML elements. In real environments
the HTML controls can be used for following reasons or situations.. Migrating from
classic ASP Not all controls requires server side events or state management When you
need to have complete control over what is rendered with HTML controls. Server
controls run at server and you can trigger control s[ecific event on server. Data
entered in control maintained across requests (State Management). HTML controls can
trigger only page-level events on server (post back). Data is not maintained must be
saved and restored using page level scripts. Hope this helps.. Regards, Varad.
