HTML Controls have a standarad one-to-one correspondence with HTML elements. In real environments the HTML controls can be used for following reasons or situations.. Migrating from classic ASP Not all controls requires server side events or state management When you need to have complete control over what is rendered with HTML controls. Server controls run at server and you can trigger control s[ecific event on server. Data entered in control maintained across requests (State Management).
