Hi, I guess that the system idle time is the time the CPU spends on the "System Idle 
Process". If this is the case then you can get hold of this specific process by using 
the GetProcessByName method, available under the System.Diagnostics.Process class. 
Moreover the process class supports a method called "TotalProcessorTime". This method 
gives the total amount of time the CPU spent on this process, which means the amount 
of the time the CPU has been idle.   Hope this helps, Swami.
