Hi Group, I am reading from an Exceel Sheet (2003) in ASP.NET using a simple
"SELECT * FROM " type of a query, the code works fine on my local machine, but
on the server it throughs an "Unspecified Error" Exception which i dont
understand. The exception occurs at Line 3. Here is the code snippet DataSet
dsExcel = new DataSet();
1. string strConExcel = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data
Source="+strExcelPhysicalPath+";Extended Properties=Excel 8.0;";
2. OleDbDataAdapter daExcel = new OleDbDataAdapter("select * from
["+strExcelSheetName+"$]",strConExcel);
3. daExcel.Fill(dsExcel);
Please reply ASAP , appreciate your earliest reply.
