Hi , I would prefer to make some modifications to your perception : 1. How
to monitor the process ? 1. That' an important requirement i.e : whether to use
file system watcher , timer or winservice and how to make sure that from a
given machine on network , i can set it on multiple machines . Also which out
of the given options will be the easiest and best possible solution . 2. How
to synchronize the access location? 2. That is not a very important issue in
this case , since my application's job is just to keep a watch over relevant
folders over the network for change , however those changes can be considered
to be made by separate applications running on specific machines and will not
be in any case done by the user , hence no specific synchronization required ,
i hope it's clear . 3. How to logs into a cenbtralized repository? 3. Again
Centralized repository is not a key requirement , it will do if it can log on
respesctive machines in specific folders . 4. How to maps the credentails of
the user to is making changes? 4. Again user credentials need to be mapped for
the pupose of setting a watcher over the network and i think that can be done
initially , needn't be done while logging everytime , however since end user is
not making any changes , so not meant for that purpose . I hope this gives a
more clear idea of the requirement , in case there's any ambiguity , let me
know . regards , Mrinal
