Hi,
I have a problem with deploying windows service. Let me explain my scenario. I
have solution MySLN which has 3 projects,
MyController - Windows Service Controller
MyService - Windows Service
CustomInstaller - Customer Installer project.
I have to make a package file including all these 3 projects. After
installation, on clicking MyController.exe, it should launch installutil.exe to
install MyService on to the client machine and the scheduler application within
it should start working..
I tried by including the Primary outputs of MyController, MyService and
CustomerInstaller in a setup and deployment project. But I find that
installutil is not at all launched when I execute MyController.
Please advice how should I modify my deployment option to achive this.
