I am getting many eMails asking to provide details on good BizTalk books,
BizTalk documentation and eBooks.
I thought it would be good to give the details [that I know!] here in this
thread, that would be beneficial for many in
User Group.
BizTalk Books:
1. BizTalk Server 2004 Unleashed - Scott Woddgate & Team
Scott Woodgate is the lead technical Product Manager of BizTalk
Server 2004. In this book He and his team of
Authors talks in and out about BizTalk. I would say this is the best book for
BizTalk 2004 available in Market.
Scott blogs about Biztalk here http://blogs.msdn.com/scottwoo
[He has also put on a list of BizTalk bloggers under blogs section]
2. BizTalk Unleashed - Susie Adams & Team
This book is good to know the fundamentals of BizTalk Server.
It explains the entire BizTalk system, terms and orchestration interaction in a
very simple and understandable way. This book has also got some code samples
for specific business scenarios.
There are many good books available, the above mentioned are the ones that I
gone thru and referred.
BizTalk Server Documentation:
Microsoft Technical Resources for BizTalk
http://www.microsoft.com/biztalk/techinfo/productdoc/2004/default.asp
Here you will get full fledged technical documentation, White papers, Case
Studies, Tutorials, Installation guide etc.(for all BizTalk releases).
Official BizTalk Server Site -> http://msdn.microsoft.com/bpi/ Here find
in-depth content, community resources, downloads, product information, and more.
BizTalk e-Books:
Sorry, I do not aware of any e-Books available for BizTalk on internet. If any
of you know about that, Please share it across.
Hope this would help.
Thanks,
Varad.
