Hi, try this

if(IsNotEmpty())
MessageBox.Show("Hi");
//else
//MessageBox.Show("It is empty");
}
protected bool IsNotEmpty()
{
if(textBox1.Text == "")
return false;
else
return true;
}
you can use a if else condition in the previous message of manivasakan_p too.
So that it will return true only if it meets all the validation.
