Eseentially the query that you are executing is timing out before sending the response back . Reasons cpuld be many : 1. Huge about data fetched , so time exceeds . 2. Very less server timeout value . Try this , run your query separately on the Sql Server and see if it excutes fine or try using Sql Profiler for exact simulation .
