hi
Uva,
    the obvious flaw I can see is , you should delete a row based
on a datatable but not a row directly.
so u
should modify your code as dt.Rows.Find(findValues).delete()
Hope
this works.

Regards,
Ravi

                Hi,
                I have a datagrid - dg.
                I'd assigned the datasource of 'dg' as 'dt' -
                datatable
                'dt' is not populated from database... instead, i m filling
                dt dynamically with user input.
                I have a primary key column in the datatable 'dt' - say
                'pk1'

                now i want to delete a record from my 'dg'... i.e., i've a
                chk box with which i'm able to identify any datagriditem's
                text... i'd identified the primary key field's vlaue...

                i need to delete that particular rows containing the chk
                box 'checked' n populate my 'dg' again...

                i m using the following code...

dr = dt.Rows.Find(findValues)

dr.Delete()

dt_Temp = dt.Copy

dt.Clear()

For
                Each dr
                In
                dt_Temp.Rows

If
                Not
                dr.RowState = DataRowState.Deleted Then

dt.Rows.Add(dr)

End
                If

Next

dt_Temp.Clear()

but it's not working fine... the error is Object
                reference not set to an instance of an object.

dr().Delete()

how to rectify?
