Hi Ashish ,   This iswhat i understood from your question :   Interface I , 
implemented by classes c1 and c2 .   Now , somewhere you have a function with 
argument of type Object the base class in .net or may be some other object of 
your own base class .   Now what i think is in this case , you needn't check 
any thing at runtime , see because condition of implementing an interface by a 
class is that it needs to provide that function , otherwise it will fail at 
compile time .   If this is not your condition , then try to give a more clear 
picture .   thanks ,   Mrinal
