Hi All, I have a method which generates listboxes dynamically based on
database and items are binded into the listbox.
//ListBoxesHere is the Placeholder control
ListBox tb = ListBoxesHere.FindControl(boxName) as ListBox;
tb.Items.Clear();
for (int j=0; j<len; j++)
{
tb.Items.Add(new
ListItem(objRows[j]["ItemLabel"].ToString(),objRows[j]["ItemID"].ToString()));
}
I have another method where I read the list box items, but it is giving "Object
Reference not set"
cc = ds.Tables[0].Rows.Count;
for(int k=0; k < cc; k++)
{
string boxName = "ListBox" + k.ToString();
ListBox tb = ListBoxesHere.FindControl(boxName) as ListBox;
foreach(ListItem item in tb.Items)
{
if(item.Selected)
{
// DO something
}
}
What is the issue, Why I cant read the Listcontrols in the ListBoxesHere
Placeholder.
Thanks
Balaji
