New operator is used to shadow a base objects method.
e.g.
class parent
{
public string display()
{
return I am parent;
}
} class child : parent
{
new public string display()
{
return I am child
}
} as you can see, whenver you have a parent object method which is not virtual
and you need to have the same name in the child also, only way you can achieve
this is by shadowing the parent objects method
