I am working on a windows service, which is used to upload files to a FTP server at frequent intervals. My question is : Suppose if i have a time interval as 5 mins, and if my upload doesn't get completed within that 5 mins, my process is terminated and the timer is elapsed... Now my requirement is as follows : I wanna set my interval time based upon my upload status. i.e. If my upload is still going on, my timer should not elapse.. i need to wait my timer with respect to the upload... i am doing all these with C# 1.0.. also am using Enterprise EDT's free FTP component.
