----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Subba Reddy. Message 1 in Discussion Hi, I have implemented SQL cache dependency in my project, which will be polling(querying) database for each 10 seconds whether the database table changed or not. If the table updated then the SqlCahce dependency invalidates the cache item and it removes the item from the cache. Now i have a doubt. After an item invalidates and removed from the cache, is the SqlCahceDependency class object still polling(querying) the database to check for the updation on the particular table or this process will happen only when a cache item exists. If SqlCahceDependency Object is querying the databse after the item in the cache invalidates, this leads to the performance issue. Please clarify my doubt ASAP. Thanks & Regards.
