Hi,

Is any perfomence difference is there when executing a stored procedure
with Sqlparamer and without as a command text ?

eg for Sqlparamer
----------------------------
SqlParameter[] ObjSqlParamArr = new SqlParameter[2];
ObjSqlParamArr[0]= new SqlParameter("@xxx",SqlDbType.BigInt);
----
---
SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand(strProcedureName);
cmd.Parameters.Add(objSqlParamArr[i])
cmd.execute()
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

eg command text
----------------------------

cmd.commandtext='stored procudure name " + paramerter1 ;
cmd.execute()

in the command text we are adding the paramerters with the command text
itself.

Is there any performence diff between the above two examples ?

Hope you respond soon.

Regards
Arun
