----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: kargreat Message 3 in Discussion i believe the table that you are querying has a primary key. with a primary key, you can search for the row that you actually need. but, if there is no primary key or if the primary key is not useful in your search then you can use a combination of fields to determine the row that you want to update. that is to say, create a combination of rows that shall uniquely identify a row. For ex: if you have more fields like country, state or region (something similar to that) then you can combine say, where code = 'C123H' and country = 'Country_Name' and state = 'State_Name' . maybe, you can send the fields of your table so that i can help you finding the combination to reach the desired row. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/BDotNet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
