Hello all, The University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) has two full time positions open for experienced Ruby on Rails developers.
We are a small group of developers supporting the GLOBE.gov website. GLOBE.gov is a website used around the world by students, teachers, and scientists to collaborate on inquiry-based investigations of the environment and the Earth system. GLOBE works closely in partnership with NASA and NSF. To update the GLOBE.gov website, we are using agile methodologies. Current projects include a website redesign, CMS using CouchDB, teacher/student networking features, and science data APIs (KML, JSON).
