storage systems. Our department has a smart, highly motivated team
that's one engineer short. Craft your resume to our description and be

A successful applicant will:
* Have 5 + yrs experience as a Software Engineer.
* Have solid C or C++ experience. You have to know it cold, this is
not a learn-as-you-go position.
* Have solid experience beyond C or C++: Ruby, Python, Scala, or
another modern language. You will need to master Ruby if you haven't
already.
* You need to be extremely competent in at least two of these areas,
and you should have heard of all of them:
* Virtualization
* Cluster or cloud computing
* iSCSI
* CIFS/SMB/NFS
* Linux/Unix/Solaris administration
* Show proven experience doing things you have not done before.
You'll need it.
* Communicate well. You will need to express yourself clearly in
writing, in person and in your code.
* Take constructive criticism well and interact professionally in
design and code reviews.
* Demonstrate a passion for your career and the quality of your
work. It matters to us and it should matter to you.
* Be a self-starter and have a can-do attitude. We are defining a
new product and you need to be capable of research, invention and
development.
