Hello all,

The University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) has two full time
positions open for web application developers.

We are a small group of developers, using Ruby on Rails for all new
development.  We also maintain the existing GLOBE.gov site.

GLOBE.gov is a website used around the world by students, teachers, and
scientists to collaborate on inquiry-based investigations of the environment
and the Earth system.  GLOBE works closely in partnership with NASA, NOAA,
and NSF.

We are looking for the following positions:

  Interactive Web Application Developer (Web Dev III) (10093)
  Web Application Maintenance/Transition (Web Dev II) (10091)

Currently, our group is working to launch our new website which includes:
  discussion forums
  student/teacher roles and responsibilities
  google earth/google maps including 27,000 schools worldwide
  content management system
