Yeah - I haven't yet had a reason to dig into it, but SuperDuper and Rogue 
Amoeba's Audio Hijack Pro will both wake the Mac, even from a powered-down 
state, to perform a scheduled task. 

There are some mornings I wish I could do this with such predictability.
