Want to work for a cash-positive startup in Boulder that is making the
world a better place? Want to work with the seasoned engineering team
at dojo4? SnuggHome (www.snugghome.com) needs Ruby developers who can
launch great tools for very big customers.

SnuggHome provides a platform for municipalities to manage their home
energy retrofit programs. The U.S. Department of Energy is
aggressively funding work in this space and SnuggHome is positioned to
lead the market.

SnuggHome’s founders are top-notch designers and front-end developers
with deep experience in the home energy retrofit field. They have been
working with dojo4 to bring their platform to life and now need even
more great developers to keep up with demand for their services.

dojo4 is currently wearing the CTO hat for SnuggHome and will provide
technical guidance and leadership throughout the project. You get the
excitement of working for a startup, and the supportive environment of
working within dojo4.

What will you do?

Integrate SnuggHome with Salesforce.com
Integrate with various utilities to grab SmartMeter and energy bill data
Integrate with Zillow
Integrate with Optimizer, another local company that provides unique
data products in this space
Capture user/usage data and generate new and interesting reports about
SnuggHome’s service
Integrate with Facebook and Twitter
And tons of other webby stuff.
Who will you work with?

Jeff, Ben and Adam – the SnuggHome founders
David Clements – Partner at dojo4 and acting SnuggHome CTO
Ara Howard – Partner and lead architect at dojo4
Ben Brinckerhoff – Senior Developer at dojo4 and lead SnuggHome developer
And the rest of dojo4.
Where will you work?

Wherever you are the most productive. Sometimes you will need to sync
with the team at dojo4, so being local is desirable (but if you think
you have what it takes to do it from a distance, we still want to hear
from you). And you are most welcome to come hang out at the dojo and
get your stuff done.

Who are you?

You’re a Ruby developer with some web skills, preferably in Rails. You
have launched things on the web. You have some opinions about how
things should be done. Lean and JSON are dear to your heart.

What will you get paid?

You will get paid well. We want good people who are committed to
getting this thing launched and happy. Let’s not let money stand in
the way.

How long will it last?

Current project launch is in 4 – 6 months depending on engineering
bandwidth. There is definitely opportunity for this to move into a
full time position as SnuggHome continues to grow.

Got a friend you have always wanted to work with?

Bring them along, this project could be great for a team of two developers.

How do you apply?

Our address is [email protected]. Send us links to things you have
built, links to your blog, links to your Twitter profile, links to
your projects on github, and anything else you think is relevant.
