We're looking for a motivated developer/programmer who wants to join a talented, fast-paced agency team. Ideally we would like an experienced Ruby on Rails and PHP programmer, but adept problem-solving skills and motivation to learn new languages will be considered if lacking specific experience with either of these languages. We are looking for a full-time staff member, but are also interested in a contractor able to provide regular part-time support. Required: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related fields or commensurate working experience • Practical experience building web sites and applications in Rails or PHP • A firm grasp on relational database design and normalization. • Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, _javascript_, AJAX, basic web usability standards • Strong desire to learn new technologies, share knowledge and pursue continual professional growth • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects while prioritizing delivering on time and on budget • Team player who loves working in a collaborative environment including designers, account managers, and clients • Effective communicator, both written and spoken • Active participation in the local developer / technology community • Must enjoy having fun at work Email resume to [email protected] Check us out at: http://www.vermilion.com |
