Be part of a brand new team working on an existing Ruby On Rails RoR consumer web site The new members will be able to have a big influence in defining the agile software processes that make the most sense, the hardware to be used - mac or windows, and the software tools , basically a say in making a creative, productive, and fun work place. We're looking for people who love continual learning and who must be comfortable mentoring others and being mentored so we can share each other's strengths in order to produce a well functioning site. We're looking for the following types of people and if you fit into both groups, that's even better. Developers with 1-3 years of real world RoR development experience. Someone who "thinks" in ruby and RoR. Ideal candidates should also have understanding of sql, html, ccs, javascript, ajax and have previous agile development experience. Developers with or WITHOUT ruby/RoR experience with 5-10 years experience developing web applications who are looking for something new and different - bringing your J2EE, .Net, or PHP web site/database performance, caching, scaling, tuning, etc skills to the RoR platform. The candidates must also have a sound understanding of sql. Some of these positions will be technical lead positions.
