Tomorrow, Tuesday June 21st is our monthly meeting. We officially
start at 7pm in the Pivotal Labs office. We will have beer and food
there around 6:30 and you're welcome to drop by a bit early. We have
Niels Liebisch scheduled to start off on Busy Docs, a Rails
application and some of the struggles he had to deal with including
deploying to a Windows PC, connecting with Google Docs API and
interacting with Windows .NET classes. Following afterwards, Tyler
Jennings of Obtiva will be presenting his talk, Strangling a Java
webapp with Rails. Tyler will demonstrate the incremental transition
of a small Java web application to Rails using JRuby.

I also have a few more books to give away plus updates on what's
happening in the Ruby scene around here. Thank you to Pivotal Labs
and Obtiva for sponsoring the beer and food. We do not have sponsors
for next month yet. Also, ping me offlist if you want to present
coming up. I look forward to seeing you all there.

Cheers,
Marty Haught
