Today at 5:30pm Trada will be hosting a meetup to talk about continuous deployment principles. Engineers from Trada and Mike Gerhard from Pivotal Labs will be presenting how their respective companies are continuously deploying web applications. Trada is located at 1023 Walnut St in Boulder (in the former Daily Camera building). Pizza and beer will be provided.
For those unfamiliar, continuous deployment (CD) is the practice of deploying code changes to production as rapidly as possible. For more information on continuous deployment checkout some resources Etsy has put out: - Quantum of Deployment (http://codeascraft.etsy.com/2010/05/20/quantum-of-deployment/) - The what, how, why, and when of Etsy's deployment process that enables them to push to production 50 or 60 times a day. - Moving Fast at Scale (http://www.livestream.com/etsy/video?clipId=pla_adbab6e2-c629-4bfe-b1fd-21c898693282) - a talk Etsy put out describing the tools and culture that they support for CD Sorry for such late notice... we hope the pizza and beer will make up for it ;) _______________________________________________ Bdrg-members mailing list [email protected] http://rubyforge.org/mailman/listinfo/bdrg-members
