At October's meeting I gave a talk on community building and mentioned
I would be starting a handbook for collecting activities that would
allow someone new to Ruby to go through a set of steps to learn the
language and get better as a programmer. This is a pretty huge
project and it'll take some time to develop. I got a bit delayed
kicking things off but I finally make a github repo for the project.
All that exists is a basic Readme. At this point there is not
concrete to work on but hopefully that will change in the coming
months. If you're interested in helping out, please follow the repo
and ping me via email or github messages. I will coordinate effort
with all those interested to get some basic activities up for review.
