Hello there Rubyists, I'm writing to invite you to a globally celebrated day of Code Retreat, taking place in Boulder on December 8th.
Boulder will participate in this event alongside our international colleagues.This is a language-agnostic event, designed to challenge habits and celebrate the craft of software creation. Throughout the process, Mike Gehard <https://twitter.com/mikegehard> and Nick Howard <https://twitter.com/baroquebobcat> will lead pairs through several iterations of Conway's Game of Life. Pairs will choose which language they'd like to hone-- whether you'd like to practice Ruby or you'd aspire to another, you are welcome. We practice the fundamentals: TDD and the 4 rules of simple design. These are applicable regardless of language. The event begins at 8:30 am and will end at 6pm.
