Ah, I see.  That's certainly more reasonable than "default to vi".  We
already read from stdin (where raw_input would be getting it's
information from), with
  be comment [options] ID -
You're suggesting we also read from stdin if the '-' is missing?

That's easy enough to do, I suppose.  Should we also add similar
behavior for the other "'-' for stdin"  cases?
  be commit [options] -
  be import-xml [options] -
  be new [options] -
