The beagle board has an expansion connector that can be configured
several different ways. Basically, we think we can connect the pins to
the FPGA and the configure the FPGA to match the expansion connector
configuration.
I believe I can start testing this soon using the board Brian mentioned
and this card http://www.bitec.ltd.uk/hsmc_proto.html so I can connect
the beagle board to the FPGA card with a simple ribbon cable.
The expansion connector is described in
http://www.beagleboard.org/uploads/Beagle_HRM_B4.pdf in section 8.17.
I know what an FPGA is and can follow along when looking at verilog, so
any advice is helpful :)
