I just tried checking out the 3.12 branch to build it and see where it is at. I noticed that the old dummy nxp audio driver in gpu/drm/i2c/tda998x_audio_drv.c is no longer there. Is the plan to use the OMAP HDMI driver to just set up a simple I2S signal via McASP0? Or will some other CODEC be used? I was placing the audio cape info into the shared tree to see if I could coax it into working when I noticed that the old driver had disappeared...
