I have now taken delivery of my cut-down version of the BBB, it is essentially the same as the BBB with the HDMI IC (U11) not fitted and with the eMMC IC not fitted (U13).
I'm now at the stage of configuring/getting the board to boot for the first time. I wish to boot from the SD card. How do I go about this without eMMC IC present?
