There's an example here: /opt/scripts/boot/am335x_evm.sh (web) https://github.com/RobertCNelson/boot-scripts/blob/master/boot/am335x_evm.sh#L83 Just point the "file=/dev/mmcblkXpY" option in g_multi to the rootfs partition..
