No, not really. The touch screen is so jittery (holding a stylus in one place has the pointer bouncing around about +/- 4 pixels no matter what) that it is almost impossible to select small items on screen.
I never got Ubuntu to work. But given the issue with the touchscreen (can it be fixed? I don't know), and the sharing of pins problem with the LCD Cape, I have decided to stick with HDMI-input touchscreens. I have a few which have none of those problems. Prices are much better, too.
