You're going to need a 1A + supply if you use more than just ethernet. So
if you're using ethernet, and CANBUS for instance.

One thing to note about those powered USB hubs. Sometimes they have power
on the USB line going back to the host. This power may have to be "cut" in
order for it to work correctly. Some people on these groups have had that
issue . . .
