Mike: I can't find timedatectl. It's not a service in /lib/systemd/system and I can't find it anywhere in the BBB's Debian Wheezy installation. So I suspect the Wheezy distro is using some other service, but I can't figure out what. There is a service file named dbus-org.freedesktop.timedate1.service which is Loaded but inactive (dead). John
