Basically what the Subject says. Having release-tags in the repository would make several things a lot easier:
* packaging a specific version (from the repository, not pypi) * Debugging issues (as in "I'm using 2.0b11 and have issue Foobar, which patch do I have to apply to fix it?") * `git bisect`ing issues ("I can bisect from v2.0b11..HEAD") Or is there any reason why we do not have tags in the repository? -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Kind regards, Matthias Beyer Proudly sent with mutt.
