Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for but I have used favagtk by 
johannesjh <https://gitlab.gnome.org/johannesjh/favagtk> in the past.

It's also available on Flathub 
<https://flathub.org/en/apps/org.gnome.gitlab.johannesjh.favagtk> as a 
Flatpak so it's quite easy to get it running without manually installing or 
running python from the command line.

I ended up moving back to the command line as it's the best way to work if 
you have plugins.
