Yes, that's right. I'm astonished you got a DEVICES_MISMATCH for the other 
devices though. That error is only triggered if the sampling frequency 
mismatches, the period size or count, or input/output cannot be linked.
Usually ALSA contains extra code to remap/resmaple audio signals that none of 
these is ever triggered.

Are you building Beast from source? In that case could you build a patched 
version that gives us more info to diagnose the exact problems on your system 
in more detail?
