I'm working some proposals for a Controls roadmap and other planning-related activities this week, but want to get cranking on code again next week. Some of them will be biggish that are probably out of scope or destabilizing and don't belong in the (to-be-stabilized) track for ApacheCon.

Should we branch for our ApacheCon release? Obviously this would allow feature work to go on in the mainline while we wrap up the demo polish details in the branch for ApacheCon.
If we do want to branch does anybody want to propose a day for it? Perhaps early next week sometime?
