[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEEHIVE-109?page=comments#action_58772 ] Jeremiah Johnson commented on BEEHIVE-109: ------------------------------------------
The BETA documentation site contains this same mistake (http://incubator.apache.org/beehive/v1beta/pageflow/pageflow_building.html). In fact, the list of required jars is pretty different than what is being used by Beehive. I will attach a patch for what I think is the correct list. - jeremiah > servlet.jar should not be put under WEB-INF/lib > ----------------------------------------------- > > Key: BEEHIVE-109 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEEHIVE-109 > Project: Beehive > Type: Bug > Components: Documentation > Versions: V1Alpha > Environment: > http://incubator.apache.org/beehive/pageflow/pageflow_building.html > Reporter: Xibin Zeng > > On the table of required jars for Beehive, servletapi.jar is listed as needed > to be under a web app's WEB-INF/lib directory. This is a mistake, the servlet > container won't load a web app's own servlet classes, it is a spec violation > (Servlet Spec 2.3, section 9.7.2). > Thanks! -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - If you want more information on JIRA, or have a bug to report see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
