I took a look at http://ws.apache.org/axis/java/developers-guide.pdf to compare and they have the same issue (on my machine). The PDF looks great on Windows, but in ggv on FC3 the fixed font sections are just munged.
There is an important point there: I noticed that my PDFs on Linux are opening in ggv rather than AcroReader. I'll test with AcroReader on Linux and update the bug on if there is still an issue or not. Sorry about the confusion. - jeremiah > -----Original Message----- > From: Eddie O'Neil > Sent: Friday, May 13, 2005 10:30 AM > To: Beehive Developers > Subject: Re: [jira] Resolved: (BEEHIVE-648) PDF versions of docs slightly > corrupt on Linux > > Steve-- > > Why is this a 'won't fix'? > > Also, do we really need to include the documentation PDFs in the > distribution when they're also available in HTML?
