I'm also seeing this issue. The issue is actually intermittent for me, but at least 80% of logins, presence on the beem client is broken. I've spent some time trying to debug without much luck. I enabled XMPP debug under Advanced settings. In logcat, I see the XMPP presence messages do come from the server all the time, but in the failure cases, I'm not seeing the ">>> Presence changed for ..." print from the presence listener in beem. Any thoughts?
